REFUND POLICY
Highway 78 Farmers Market

Thank you for choosing Highway 78 Farmers Market. We value your participation and satisfaction, whether you're a vendor, customer, or visitor to our market. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures and guidelines regarding refunds for various services and situations.

1. VENDOR FEES
1.1 Daily Vendor Fees

Weather-Related Market Cancellations:

  • If Highway 78 Farmers Market cancels a market day due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions prior to the market opening, vendors will receive a credit for a future market date.

  • If a market day is canceled after opening (due to sudden weather changes or emergency situations), no refunds or credits will be issued as the market has incurred all operational costs.

Vendor Absence:

  • No refunds will be provided for vendor absences, regardless of cause.

  • Vendors who provide at least 48 hours' notice of absence may be eligible for a credit toward a future market date, limited to two (2) instances per season, at the Market Manager's discretion.

  • Absence without notice may result in forfeiture of regular booth location and/or future market participation privileges.

1.2 Annual Vendor Fees

Seasonal/Annual Vendor Packages:

  • Annual vendor packages are non-refundable once the market season has begun.

  • If a vendor withdraws before the season begins, a refund less a 20% administrative fee may be issued at the Market Manager's discretion.

  • In extraordinary circumstances (major illness, business closure, etc.), partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

1.3 Special Event Booth Fees
  • Special event fees are non-refundable if canceled by the vendor within 14 days of the event.

  • If Highway 78 Farmers Market cancels a special event, all vendors will receive either a full refund or credit toward future market dates, at the vendor's choice.

2. CUSTOMER PURCHASES

Highway 78 Farmers Market hosts independent vendors who sell directly to customers. All product sales, returns, and refunds are handled by individual vendors according to their own policies. The Market does not process returns or refunds for products purchased from vendors.

2.1 Vendor-Customer Transactions
  • Each vendor establishes their own return and refund policies for products sold.

  • Customers should retain receipts and contact vendors directly with any product issues.

  • Highway 78 Farmers Market is not responsible for disputes between vendors and customers, but may facilitate communication if needed.

2.2 Quality Assurance

While Highway 78 Farmers Market does not process refunds for vendor products, we are committed to quality:

  • Customers who experience significant quality issues with products purchased at our market are encouraged to notify market management.

  • Repeated quality issues may affect a vendor's future participation in the market.

  • The Market Manager can help customers connect with vendors to resolve concerns.

3. WORKSHOP AND EVENT TICKET REFUNDS
3.1 Educational Workshops and Special Presentations
  • Full refunds are available if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the event.

  • 50% refund if cancellation is requested 3-6 days before the event.

  • No refunds for cancellations less than 3 days before the event.

  • Full refunds will be issued if the workshop or event is canceled by Highway 78 Farmers Market.

3.2 Event Transfers
  • Ticket holders unable to attend may transfer their registration to another person by notifying the Market Manager at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Tickets may be transferred to a future event of equal or lesser value (with payment of any price difference) if requested at least 3 days in advance, subject to availability.

4. SPONSORED MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
4.1 Digital and Print Advertising
  • Cancellations of advertising commitments made 30+ days before publication/posting are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 15-29 days before publication/posting will receive a 50% refund.

  • No refunds for cancellations less than 15 days before publication/posting.

  • Full refunds will be issued if Highway 78 Farmers Market fails to deliver the agreed-upon advertising services.

4.2 Market Sponsorships
  • Sponsorship agreements are customized, and refund terms will be specified in individual sponsorship contracts.

  • Generally, sponsorships are non-refundable once marketing materials have been produced or sponsorship recognition has begun.

5. PAYMENT PROCESSING
5.1 Method of Refund
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method when possible:

    • Credit/debit card payments will be refunded to the original card

    • Cash payments will be refunded by check

    • Online payments will be refunded electronically

  • Please allow 7-14 business days for refund processing.

5.2 Service Fees
  • Administrative or processing fees may not be refundable, even when the primary payment is refunded.

  • Third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable.

6. REQUESTING A REFUND

To request a refund for any eligible market-related fee or purchase:

  1. Email your request to hhfarms189@gmail.com

  2. Include:

    • Your name and contact information

    • Date of payment

    • Amount paid

    • Reason for requesting a refund

    • Receipt or proof of payment, if available

  3. The Market Manager will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

7. POLICY EXCEPTIONS

Highway 78 Farmers Market reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances. Any exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and do not constitute a waiver of this policy for future situations.

8. POLICY CHANGES

This Refund Policy may be updated periodically. The current version will be posted on our website, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly.
